Chad M. Opel, CFP®
With a storybook baseball career that precedes him, chasing and realizing a dream is anything but foreign to Chad Opel. A 40-0 high school senior season, capped by the Illinois State Championship. Top high school baseball team in America. 1998 American Legion National Champion and American Legion Player of the Year honors. A four-year starter at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and 2014 SIUE Athletics Hall of Fame Inductee. Not to mention, a three-year stint as a middle infielder with the Baltimore Orioles organization.
While rewarding and memorable, Chad would be the first to tell you his experiences and accolades on the diamond were merely the foundational work that would cement his true calling as a coach and advisor in the field of finance. As a Certified Financial Planner TM, Chad takes great joy and care in helping educate and guide clients on every aspect of sound wealth strategies and planning.
Chad earned his bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. He and his wife, Kathie - who is also a Estate Planning Attorney & Practicing Partner at Opel Bash Group in Edwardsville - reside in Edwardsville with their two daughters, Samantha and Elizabeth.
As continued advocates of community, Chad and Kathie co-founded Edwardsville Neighbors in 2009, a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting families who have experienced financial hardship due to loss, illness, or injury. The organization’s annual Taste of Edwardsville and Turkey Trot 5k are their main fundraising efforts. And grown to become two of the area’s most anticipated events. Evan Mowen, CFP®
Evan serves as a Wealth Management Advisor, where he enjoys building meaningful relationships with clients and helping guide them through every stage of their financial journey.
Evan's passion for financial planning began at a young age. Inspired by his father, a banker, he learned early on about the power of compounding interest and the importance of making wise financial decisions. As his interest in the industry grew, he discovered that what he enjoys most is helping clients solve complex financial challenges and seeing the confidence that comes from having a well-designed plan.
He earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. he served two terms on the SIUe Alumni Board and earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(R) certification in 2022.
Evan enjoys spending time with his wife, Kayla, whom he married in 2018, and their three energetic boys, Charlie, Eddie, and Mikey. In a perfect world he's lowering his handicap on the golf course but that's easier said than done. Whether he's with family, golfing, or working alongside clients, Evan values building lasting relationships founded on trust, integrity, and genuine care.

Danielle de Villiers-Iberg
Danielle is a Client Services Manager that joined Front Office in 2025. Danielle brings a wealth of experience and a versatile background to our office. Raised in the Edwardsville/Bethalto/Alton area, Danielle has deep roots in our community. She is a proud alum of SIUE, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Her remarkable journey includes a successful 12-year career with Anheuser-Busch and its wholesalers, honing her skills in sales, marketing, and special event management. Transitioning into the financial industry in 2016, Danielle has since gathered vast expertise with St. Louis Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firms, bringing an extensive background in client services. She has a wealth of familiarity in the client service role and takes the time to genuinely understand clients' needs and interests. With her strong organizational skills and mindfulness, Danielle’s approach ensures high-level customer service, a standard we prioritize. She is enthusiastic about helping those around her and focus on taking care of our clients.
Personally, Danielle is very devoted to her family and cherishes her time residing in Edwardsville, IL, with her husband, Casey, and two stepchildren, Brayden and Addy. Their household is also home to three beloved feline companions: Paco, Rocko, and Reese. An advocate for family involvement, she supports her stepchildren and always seen cheering them on at their sporting events. Additionally, Danielle enjoys the rustic charm of the Iberg family farm in Marine, IL—fishing, witnessing breathtaking sunsets, and dedicating time to her loved ones. Danielle and her family are members of St. Boniface Parish in Edwardsville. She and her husband share a love for concerts and are enthusiastic supporters of the St. Louis sports scene, further illustrating her commitment to family, friends, and community.

Zach Hoffmann
Having grown up in Edwardsville, Illinois, Zach has always valued the relationships, community, and strong work ethic that define the Metro East region. Throughout his life, sports have played a significant role in shaping who he is today, teaching him the importance of teamwork, discipline, perseverance, and leadership. Whether on the golf course or following basketball, baseball, and football, Zach has always appreciated the lessons and connections that sports provide.
Zach earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where he further developed his passion for personal finance and helping others make informed decisions. During his time at SIUE, he discovered that financial advising offered a unique opportunity to combine analytical thinking with meaningful relationships, helping individuals and families navigate some of life's most important financial decisions.
Zach is committed to building trusted relationships and helping clients work toward their financial goals with confidence. He believes that understanding each client's unique story, priorities, and aspirations is the foundation of effective financial planning and long-term success.
Outside of the office, Zach enjoys spending time with his fiancée, Taneil, as well as family and friends. A lifelong member of the Edwardsville community, he is proud to serve the area that has played such an important role in his personal and professional development and looks forward to helping clients and families throughout the region achieve their financial goals.
Amy Bowman
Amy’s primary role at Front Office Wealth Strategies is to enhance the client’s experience and administrative needs. She is also responsible for the daily operations of our office. Amy has a long history of taking excellent care of clients as she previously worked as a paralegal in family law for the past 20 years.
Amy enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially her seven grandchildren, as well as traveling. Amy is married to Rich and they share five children, as well as their two dogs Hamilton and Samson.
Ariel-Rapunzel
Ariel-Rapunzel brings a warm smile and an endless supply of cheerful hellos to her role as Chief Greeting Officer. When she’s not busy greeting clients and colleagues , she enjoys sunbathing on the conference room floor.
Ariel is also responsible for checking the mail daily which earns her a treat she thoroughly enjoys.
Nancy Kerrigan
Nancy ventures to the Front Office periodically, mostly on Tuesdays and lost her 'temp status' when the Mowen Family Fostered to adopt her at the beginning of 2026. Nancy loves a good ear rub and a nap under your rolling chair.
Her litter of puppies were all named after Olympic skaters by Diamonds in the Rough Rescue
