Once a month, we recognize a “Charitable Champion,” a local athlete who epitomizes the qualities of academic and athletic excellence, leadership, compassion, and team-spirit.
Administrators, Coaches, and Teachers can nominate local athletes. The only requirements are that the student be involved in a sport and still in high school. Once selected, the “Charitable Champion” will be invited to join the Metro East Sports podcast for an interview in recognition of this prestigious award, which includes a $500 donation to the charitable organization of his/her choice. All charities are subject to the approval of Front Office.
